Emotional Resilience: Rising Everytime We Fall
Show Notes

This week on the Davenport, Jamie and Guy discuss Emotional Resilience. What is emotional resilience? Emotional resilience refers to one’s ability to adapt to stressful situations or crises. It's the ability to "bounce back" or "roll with the punches" and adapt to challenges in life without having lasting difficulties. Less resilient people have a harder time with stress and life changes, both big and small.  An important component of emotional resilience is emotional intelligence - being able to recognize what you are feeling and why.  Quoting Alecia Moore, Jamie explained, "Resilience is a muscle. Flex it enough and it will take less effort to get over the emotional punches each time." Listen and learn how to strengthen this muscle so it's good and strong when you need it most 💪
