Saboteur Series Finale: The Sage ( aka The Anecdote to The Saboteurs)
Show Notes

On this week's episode, Jamie and Guy finish their saboteur series by discussing the anecdote to the Saboteurs: the Sage.  In his book on Positive Intelligence, Shirzad Chamine explains the mind has two modes: positive and negative.  The positive mode is called the Sage, while the negative mode is called our Saboteurs.  Our Saboteurs are responsible for our feelings of frustration, regret, anxiety, shame, and guilt. They are the voices in our heads that generate negative emotions about the way we handle everyday life.  While our Sage, on the other hand, does the opposite.  It helps us handle challenges by encouraging us to focus on empathy, curiosity, tranquility, productivity, and more. It helps us handle challenges with a clear and calm mind and positive emotions. Ultimately, the Sage helps us to silence the Saboteurs. Listen to learn more about the Sage and how to harness it more when your Saboteurs show up 💪 Haven't taken the Saboteur Assessment yet?
