Keeping Score in Relationships: Why It's Not A Winning Strategy
Show Notes

On this week's episode Jamie and Guy discuss keeping score in relationships. From romantic relationships, to parenting, to driving in traffic - they discuss how keeping score isn't a winning strategy for improving connection. Jamie explains that when we are keeping score someone is always on offense and the other is on defense.   By keeping score we often discount the good because we are keeping score of what's not working.  Plus,  there are so many factors involved it would be impossible to keep an accurate score.  We should want to be on the same team as our spouse or partner. We can do that by communicating our needs, looking for what is going well within our relationships and staying in gratitude 💛
